Prepcasts Class 1 District “picks “.

Many strong programs are still dominating class 1—take a look ….

District 1: Valle Catholic should return to a familiar place – the District winners circle!

District 2: Hayti Indians (5-2) will be 2nd SEMO South team to win district as  St Vincent stands as the stiffest opposition.

District 3: Marionville Comets are pointing towards  a repeat performance in the Dome behind power running game that averages over 30 ppg !

District 4: McAuley Catholic (5-2) will coast to district championship

District 5: Lockwood Tigers (5-2) and Rich Hill Tigers (5-2) will decide title in 10th week. Lockwood is our choice—the 3rd team from the Spring River League to be chosen !

District 6: The potent offense of the Archie Whirlwinds (5-2) will ice up this district as well as the WEMO conference championship.

District 7: Lone Jack Mules (6-1) upset after losing their 1st game last week will romp through all 3 weeks of district.

District 8: From top to bottom, best class 1 district—Concordia Orioles, St Paul Lutheran Saints and the Sweet Springs Greyhounds all are 4-3 while the Tipton Cardinals are 6-1. Our nod goes to Tipton with some great games on tap  !

District 9: All 4 teams come from the Grand River Conference. State ranked, strong defensively, the Gallatin Bulldogs (7-0) should enter the STATE tournament still unbeaten.

District 10: Rock Port Bluejays (6-0) will have some real mismatches in District. Their first real big test will be in semifinals.

District 11: In a district with all 4 contenders below .500, we like the East –Buchanon Bulldogs

District 12:Braymer Bobcats (4-3) don’t own the best record (Hamilton is 5-2) but we feel that they’ve faced very tough competition so we like the Bobcats to earn a rematch with Salisbury.

District 13: The wide open Wellignton-Napolean Tigers offense  (6-1) that has 432 points in 7 games will face the immoveable defense of the Orrick Bearcats (7-0) that has surrendered only 47 points all season provides us with a tremendous game in week 7. We’ll going to follow football tendencies and stick with defense in the big game—we’re going with Orrick ! It’s a shame that one of these two teams won’t move onto the state tournament.

District 14:Salisbury Panthers (6-1) beat 3 Lewis & Clark opponents to win this district.

District 15:  We’re looking beyond the numbers here—Marceline & Milan are each 5-2 but Prepcasts chooses Putnam County Midgets (4-3) who’ve lost all 3 games to highly ranked teams.

District 16: S.Shelby Cardinals (6-1) carry the only .500+ record and should march into sectionals .

Send us your thoughts—right now—no 2nd guessing !!
