Another great week….many come from behind victories…15-3’s in a game…a pair of 2 OT games…26 lead changes in a game…..read about it here..
….Chaminade & Borgia combined to knock down 15 3-pointers in the 70-56 Flyer win !
….26 lead changes, 11 ties were a part of the thrilling 62-61 Blytheville (4-1)victory over Poplar Bluff (1-4). Shontrell Johnson led all scorers with 29 pts for Blytheville. It was the first home loss in 5 years for the Mules who shot just 3 of 12 from the charity stripe !
…what a week for the Orchard Farm Eagles! Down by 5 with 90 seconds left on Tuesday, the Eagles tied the game against Van Far at the buzzer and won in 2 OT,69-64. A night later, the Eagles scored almost half their points of the game in the 4th quarter (18 pts) to edge Lutheran St Charles 43-41. Finally on Friday, the Eagles tasted defeat for the first time this year as they dropped a 60-55 contest to Elsberry despite Brad Westerfield’s 28 points !

…Oakville Tigers Girls outscored the Parkway North Vikings 18-9 in the final stanza to squeeze out a 43-42 win !
…Blair Oaks Falcons (4-1) really turned on the burners as they overcame a halftime deficit(25-22) to win easily 60-45 over Centralia. Centralia was held to just 4 points in the 3rd quarter !
…the MICDS Girls shut out Clayton 11-0 in the final quarter to pull out a 38-29 win !
…Lafayette took command in the final quarter, as they outscored their intra-district rival 16-9, to beat the Marquette Mustangs 54-50. Tyler Griffey was the game high scorer with 17 points.

..Kirkwood 91 Lafayette 82 in double OT. There were 7 players in double digits in this one.
…Waynesville 81 Lebanon 73 in a hot shooting contest of mid-Missouri

…after losing last year to Morrisville, Marion C Early has already downed rival Morrisville twice this season 75-53 and 76-57.
….Kickapoo Chiefs(4-1) held the Ozark Tigers(2-2) scoreless for 7:39 in 2nd half to win 56-48 in a game that featured two of the best programs of the STATE.
…after suffering their first loss of the season on Tuesday against Houston 49-48, the Mansfield Lions (5-1) rebounded with an impressive win over Springfield Catholic(5-2) 48-40. Danny Thompson’s 3 points broke open this game that was dominated by tight defense.
…how would you like having two sophomores leading the way ? Stoutland saw 2 soph push them to a 82-66 win over Newburg. The Sophomores combined for 41 points !!
