and hung on for a 6-5 victory. Wright City scored 2 runs in the 6th and
1 in the 7th but fell short in their rally.
..Cairo (11-3) knocked Salisbury (15-1)from the unbeaten ranks with a nail
biting 6-5 win
…St Dominic Crusadors (17-6) scored 4 runs in the last half of the
7th to walk off a 8-7 victor over the ST Charles Pirates in a great St Charles
county game
…forget the final score, Nixa (13-2) plated 7 runs in the final inning
to win an Ozark Conference game 14-7 over the Ozark Tigers (15-3)! Christian
Overstreet led the way for the Eagles with 2 home runs, the 2nd being a
grand salami!
LONGEST GAME of the WEEK: Belleville West (15-7) edged arch rival Belleville East(20-6) 3-2 in 11 innings ! Starting pitchers John Flanagan (Bell W-10 innings) and AJ Martin (Bell East-8 inn) had nothing to show for their great outings!
