…Michael Dlouhy twirled a 3 hitter as the Parkview Vikings beat the Joplin Eagles 2-1 in Ozark Conference play.
..Robbie Wort (Howell N) threw a 3 hitter in a 3-0 whitewash over Ft Zumwalt West
..Ryan Stagner went the distance in a 3-2 Festus win over DeSoto
…Brad LaBruyere won his 10th game of the year in the championship game of the Ozark Conf Tournament. His Cape Central team beat Sikeston 8-4 to gain the title.
…Evan Wise of Lutheran North made a single run stand up in his complete game 1-0 victory over the Lancers of Lutheran South in an ABC conference game.
…Adam Rush (Jeff City-17-5) threw the first shutout of the year for the Jays as he held the Smith-Cotton team to only 3 hits
…JFK’s Pat Lamb hurled a beautiful 2-1 victory over Lutheran St Charles in AAA action
…Anthony Stewart struck out 12 while pitching Hermann over Cuba 1-0!
…Michael Adamson (Freeburg) saw his Midget team score in the bottom of the 7th to win a great 1-0 win over tough luck loser Trent Blank (Columbia)


Meanwhile looking at some thrilling games from the week..
…down 7-3 going into the bottom of the 5th, Williard rallied to whip Buffalo 8-7!
…Hazelwood West scored all 3 of its runs in the 5th to whip Suburban North foe Pattonville 3-2. Nate Jones (HW) had the big 2-RBI hit for the Wildcats!
…Westminster (13-4) fought off the hard charging Wright City Wildcats(11-6) and hung on for a 6-5 victory. Wright City scored 2 runs in the 6th and 1 in the 7th but fell short in their rally.
..Cairo (11-3) knocked Salisbury (15-1)from the unbeaten ranks with a nail biting 6-5 win
…St Dominic Crusadors (17-6) scored 4 runs in the last half of the 7th to walk off a 8-7 victor over the ST Charles Pirates in a great St Charles county game
…forget the final score, Nixa (13-2) plated 7 runs in the final inning to win an Ozark Conference game 14-7 over the Ozark Tigers (15-3)! Christian Overstreet led the way for the Eagles with 2 home runs, the 2nd being a grand salami!

LONGEST GAME of the WEEK: Belleville West (15-7) edged arch rival Belleville East(20-6) 3-2 in 11 innings ! Starting pitchers John Flanagan (Bell W-10 innings) and AJ Martin (Bell East-8 inn) had nothing to show for their great outings!

WILDEST GAME of the WEEK: Tied 4-4 after 5, John Burroughs Bombers score 7 runs in the last 2 innings but the Whitford Warriors (13-5)crossed the plate 11 times in the last 2 innings to win 15-11 in a slugfest!
